Police: Father-in-law stabs Knoxville man during argument

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police say a father-in-law stabbed his son-in-law early Friday during a fight.

The fight happened in the victim's home on West Pine Lane.

Brad Barrett, 46, was cut in his hands, arms and abdomen. He was taken to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have called the fight a domestic disturbance that happened during an argument about marital issues.

Barrett's father-in-law, Roger Monday, 57, is charged with one count of aggravated assault.
