Man rescued from burning home in Williamsburg


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WATE) - A man was rescued from his burning home in Williamsburg Thursday night.

A Whitley County sheriff's deputy responded to the home of George Davis, 75, at 119 Cool Camp Road, at 6:58 p.m.

The fire was called in by a neighbor. Davis was in the home at the time. He was rescued and taken to Baptist Regional Hospital.

Kentucky State Police are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
