SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE/AP) - The search for two missing Middle Tennessee children has been upgraded to an AMBER Alert.

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office issued the alert for 9-year-old Chloie Leverette and 7-year-old Gage Daniel.

Chloie has brown hair, blue eyes, weighs about 75 pounds and is 4'8" tall.

Gage has hazel eyes, brown hair, weighs about 50 pounds and is 4'0".

According to the AMBER Alert release, authorities believe the children may be with a male, though no description has been provided.

Both children were last seen on September 23 at their grandparents' home in Unionville, Tennessee.

That home was destroyed by a fire. Investigators searched the home, but were not able to find any evidence to suggest that Chloie and Gage were inside at the time of the fire.

They did, however, find the bodies of their grandparents.

If you have any information concerning the children, please contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
