NASHVILLE (AP) - Nashville police say one person has died after a physical fight between two brothers led to a stabbing in the parking lot of LP Field.
In a news release Sunday morning, police say 26-year-old Jesse T. Alexander of Nashville was pronounced dead at Baptist Hospital on Saturday night. Police say the stabbing happened at about 8:15 p.m. CDT as Alexander and his brother, 38-year-old Joshua Alexander, tailgated with family and friends after the Tennessee State University homecoming game.
Police say Joshua Alexander drove away from the parking lot.
Detectives were still investigating Sunday morning and trying to identify and interview witnesses. Police say charges have not been sought against Joshua Alexander while officers try to determine what led to the stabbing.
