Lenoir City's Wiggins in court on child exploitation charges

LENOIR CITY (WATE) - A Lenoir City business owner was in court Monday, facing charges that have left his community in shock.

Chris Wiggins, 35, of Lenoir City was arraigned Monday morning on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of drug possession.

His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, October 3.

Wiggins is the owner of Wiggins Siding and Guttering, located in downtown Lenoir City.

Investigators seized two computers, marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as guns and recording devices during a search of his home.

Authorities expect more charges as the investigation continues.
