GREENEVILLE (WATE) – Officials are investigating the death of an 8-month-old baby, according to the Greene County District Attorney's Office.
The baby was taken by ambulance to Laughlin Memorial Hospital two weeks ago.
Hospital workers told deputies the baby was not breathing when it arrived at the ER.
The infant was subjected to violent trauma. The baby had bruising and what appeared to be a bite mark on its arm.
The investigation is ongoing.
