RUTLEDGE (WATE) - Grainger County deputies busted what they said was one of the biggest drug operations in the county on Thursday, according to Sheriff Scott Layel.

After a two-year long investigation, officials raided the home of John and Eddie Mullins located on the 1100 block of Gray Road.

The Fourth Judicial Drug task Force, TBI agents and the Rutledge Police all assisted in the raid.

Deputies seized weapons, drugs and $8,000 in cash.

Three children living in the home were placed into protective custody. They were living in what officers said were horrendous conditions.

Officials arrested Jeff Graham, 43, of Rutledge, and Hugh Carneal Jr., 44, of Rutledge, at the scene. They are being charged for possession of narcotics.
