BEAN STATION (WATE) - A head-on car crash Monday morning in Grainger County claimed two lives and injured two others.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the wreck on Highway 11W at about 9 a.m. happened when Kenneth C. Morris, 32, of Thorn Hill, crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 11W and hit a car driven by Derek A. Marion, 30, of Sneedville.
The force of the wreck sent both vehicles into a guard rail.
Morris and Marion were injured. A passenger in Morris's vehicle, Rebaca J. Ferguson, 43, and a passenger in Marion's vehicle, Lisa J. Rodefer, 40, were killed in the wreck.
