PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - The Sevier County Humane Society announced Tuesday it is offering a reward for information about the person who shot a dog with an arrow.
The dog, named Allie, was shot September 28 on Maryville Highway.
A veterinary clinic examined the dog and determined it was more humane to put Allie down because the dog was suffering from internal injuries.
The Humane Society is asking anyone with information to contact Cpl. Phil King with the Sevier County Sheriff's Office at (865) 453-4668.
The current reward is $250, but officials are hoping donations will increase that amount.
Donations to the "Allie Reward Fund" can be made by sending them
