SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - Sevierville drivers may see delays because of a construction project on Old Knoxville Highway.
The City of Sevierville
Department of Public Works has scheduled a drainage improvement project on
Old Knoxville
Highway at the intersection with Franklin Drive,
beginning Monday, October 8.
The
work will take place each day from approximately
7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The
project is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, October 12.
Traffic will still be open in both
directions, but officials are telling motorists to expect delays, especially during
heavy traffic periods.
To avoid delays, drivers may want to consider alternate routes.
