KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Deputies arrested a man on Thursday after busting him for having over 100 prescription pills, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
The man, Floyd Junior Hammond, 65, of the 5000 block of Ramsey lane, was arrested around 1:40 p.m. at his residence.
A four month undercover investigation led to the search of Hammond's home. Officers confiscated pills, guns, stolen cars and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Deputies say Hammond was armed with a loaded firearm when they arrived but was taken into custody without incident.
Hammond was charged with possession of a firearm during commission of felony, theft of property and manufacture, delivery, sale, or possession of a controlled substance.
His bond is $50,000, and he currently has two outstanding failures to appear warrants in Anderson County.
