Busy Saturday morning for Union County firemen after 2 barns go up in flames


MAYNARDVILLE (WATE) - Union County fire officials put down two barn fires Saturday morning.

It happened in Maynardville around 2 a.m. 

According to dispatchers the fires started on the 100 blocks of Kettle Hollow and Hog Skin roads. Those barns are just about a ten minute drive from each other.

No word on the official cause of the two barn fires, but according to Union County fire officials they are on the lookout for an arsonist responsible for six other barn and garage fires set there in the past four days.
