KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A car going the wrong way on Interstate 640 early Tuesday hit a tractor trailer truck near the Broadway exit.
Knoxville police say the driver of the car was arrested for driving under the influence.
The wreck happened just after 3:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate.
No one was injured in the wreck.
Lauren Elizabeth Steele, 22, of Knoxville, is charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, one way road, violation, and violating the implied consent law. She is being held on a $2,000 bond.
The westbound lanes were closed for a short time while crews cleared the vehicles from the highway.
