KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knox County Schools will open the Teacher Supply Depot for the second time this school year.
The Teacher Supply Depot provides teachers and other school officials with school supplies free of charge.
The depot will be open Saturday, Oct. 13 from 7:00 a.m. to noon in the former Cedar Bluff Intermediate School on N. Cedar Bluff Road.
The Teacher Supply Depot is stocked with new and used school supplies donated by community members and local businesses.
Saturday's depot will include many items that were recently donated by The University of Tennessee Athletic Department thanks to Lady Vols soccer and volleyball fans, who donated the supplies at recent games.
Although donations are accepted year-round, the Teacher Supply Depot is only open on certain dates throughout each school year.
Anyone planning to shop at the Knox County Schools' Teacher Supply Depot must bring their school ID or another form of identification to be admitted.
