JOHNSON CITY (WATE) - Officials have issued an East Tennessee Endangered Child Alert alert for a Johnson City boy.
The Johnson City Police Department issued the alert for 12-year-old Joao Kleber Martins Guimaraes.
Joao was last seen on Oct. 9 when he and his mother Jesiane Martins Nixon, failed to appear in court.
Joao is a white male with brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5'9" tall and weighs 140 lbs.
Jesiane Martins Nixon is a 30-year-old white female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'6" tall and weighs 118 lbs.
A bench order was issued for Jesiane Martins Nixon on Monday by the Johnson City Police Department.
