GATLINBURG (WATE) - Halloween is less than three weeks away and a local attraction wants to get locals in the holiday spirit.
Ripley's Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg is hosting their 14th annual Fright Nights show at the year-round haunted house.
The shows run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October.
This year, the theme incorporates a little of the bizarre from the bayou.
"On our Fright Nights, we do about four to five times the number of actors in our show," said Suzanne DeSear of Ripley's. "It's a themed-out show. This year, it's VooDoo 13, so you're going to see a lot of Louisiana swamps, zombies, your swamp witches, things like that."
Admission to Fright Nights is $13.99 for anyone over the age of 12 and $8 for ages 6 to 11.
Ripley's will also have a special Fright Nights show on Halloween, which is on a Wednesday this year.
