KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A single vehicle accident sent one to the hospital on Saturday morning.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Interstate 640 westbound at Broadway.
The driver was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Knoxville Fire Department.
She was transported to UT Medical Center with serious injuries but was listed in stable condition when officers left the scene of the accident.
