OAK RIDGE (WATE) - A woman has died after losing control of her car and hitting a tree in Roane County.
It happened Saturday afternoon on Gallaher Rd. near Highway 70.
Troopers say Teresa Duff, 42, went off the road, over-corrected and slammed into a tree. The car then caught fire.
No one else was in the car. Officers say Duff was not wearing a seatbelt.
They believe drugs were a factor in the crash.
