DANDRIDGE (WATE) - Dandridge police are looking for the man who robbed a local pharmacy Monday morning.

It happened at the Jeffco Drug Center on West Meeting Street around 11:00 a.m.

Officers said a male walked into the store and handed the clerk a note, demanding Roxycodone and Opana pills. The man also told the clerk he had a gun and said if he didn't receive the drugs within 60 seconds, he would "take hostages".

The clerk said no and told the man to get out. The suspect then left in a newer-model, dark blue Ford Taurus with a temporary tag.

The suspect was last seen heading towards Cocke County.

The man is described as a skinny build with a medium complexion, wearing blue jeans with holes in them, a black and white ball cap and a yellowish-tan sports jacket.

Police believe he is the same man who successfully robbed the Jeffco Drug Center in Jefferson City on Oct. 2.

Anyone with information is asked to call Jefferson County officials at (865) 475-3482 or call Det. Lt. Kenny Lodwich of the Dandridge Police Department directly at (865) 397-8862 ext. 26.
