MAYNARDVILLE (WATE) - Three men were arrested Monday after a home invasion.
Union County officials received a 911 call from 494 Bull Run Road around 2:48 p.m.
The homeowner said three men had just forced their way into the home and took money and the keys to a vehicle. The three then fled in a gray Chevrolet pickup truck.
Officers from the Union County Sheriff's Office, Maynardville Police Department, and Plainview Police Department responded to the area, and within minutes located a suspect vehicle on Ailor Gap Road.
The driver refused to stop, and led officers on a brief half-mile chase, before losing control and running off the roadway.
Joshua Chandler, 31, and Kalvin Smith, Jr., 41, were arrested at the scene. A third suspect ran away.
Knox County sheriff's deputies located the third suspect 11:00 p.m. on Highway 33 in the Karns area. Randy Parks, 31, was then taken into custody.
All three suspects face robbery charges and are being held on $75,000 bond.
