LONDON, Ky. (WATE/AP) - A Laurel County man was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder in the stabbing death of his girlfriend.
London police say Pamela Sue Bobbit, 25, was stabbed in the back, chest, jaw and wrist during a fight early Tuesday at an apartment complex.
She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Bobbit's boyfriend, Sean Messer, 34, was reportedly seen running from the apartment complex. He was later arrested as he tried to pick up a vehicle that was being serviced.
Police say Messer had two children with Bobbit. He is charged with murder-domestic violence and is being held in the Laurel County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
