2 people trapped under mobile home in Kentucky

WHITLEY CITY, Ky. (AP) - Two people were trapped under a mobile home while trying to help their daughter move it.

Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell said the trailer slid off its foundations on Wednesday afternoon when the cinder blocks it was sitting on collapsed.

Roger Alsip and Jackie Perry, a divorced couple, were trapped under the home.

Deputies said two local fire departments had to use hydraulic air bags to lift the mobile home off the victims.

Alsip and Perry were flown to University of Tennessee Hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
