KNOXVILLE (WATE)- Two Knoxville families are displaced after their duplex catches on fire.
Firefighters said it happened around 7:30p.m. in the 5000 block of Clover Road off Bradshaw Garden Drive.
The smoke alarm alerted one of the families to smoke coming from the roof.
After crews arrived on the scene, officials said the fire was under control within 15 minutes.
One person was treated for mild smoke inhalation, but no one was seriously injured.
The Red Cross has been called to assist both families.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
