KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man who fell 25 to 30 feet in South Knoxville was rescued and taken to the hospital on Sunday morning.
Officials say it happened around 2 a.m. on the 3000 block of Cherokee Woods Way.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, the man was intoxicated and tried to get into his car to leave. His girlfriend threw his keys over a fence so he couldn't drive.
The man climbed the fenced but did not know there was a large drop on the other side and fell.
It took crews around an hour to pull him up.
He sustained minor injuries.
