CLARKSVILLE (AP) - Five men have been charged in connection with a shooting at a Halloween party in Montgomery County that left two men dead.
According to The Leaf-Chronicle, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office charged 18-year-old Shakar Donte Drones of Clarksville with two counts of criminal homicide and he is being held in jail on a $2 million bond.
Four other suspects were charged with being accessories after the fact in the criminal homicide. Police believe between 200 and 500 people were at the party in a cabin late on Friday night and into Saturday morning.
Investigator Billy Batson said 20-year-old Jecarvin Brown and 21-year-old Jason Lee Rose were killed. Batson said the suspect was fighting with Brown when Brown was shot and Rose was shot when he came over to help.
