SEYMOUR (WATE) - One man is dead after an accident Thursday night in Seymour, and the THP is looking for help from the public to find a driver who might have more information.

It happened around 10:10 p.m. on South Old Sevierville Pike near Bell Chapel Lane.

Charles Lawson, 31, was killed.

Troopers said Lawson tried to pass another vehicle when he lost control and crashed into a brick mailbox.

The other vehicle is believed to be a Ford pickup truck, which was not damaged in the wreck.
