KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The KCSO responded to a fatal one vehicle wreck that killed one on Saturday morning in North Knox County.
Carl Williams, of Clinton, 48, lost control of his 1985 Corvette while driving on West Beaver Creek near Beechmont. It happened just before 1 a.m.
The car hit a curb, Williams was ejected from the vehicle, and the car flipped over on its top.
Rural Metro pronounced Williams dead on the scene.
Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt, and speed was a factor in the accident.
