KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man with a semi-automatic pistol robbed a branch of FSG Bank Tuesday in Knoxville.
Knoxville police say the unidentified robber entered the bank at 307 Lovell Road near Parkside Drive around 9:57 a.m. and demanded money. He got away undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses told police he fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male about 55-65 years old. He is 5'9" and weighs 180 lbs.
He had short salt and
pepper hair, bushy eyebrows, a large nose, a full face, and several days worth
of stubble.
During the time of the robbery he was wearing a black ball cap, blue jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
A reward is being
offered for any information which leads to his arrest.
Knoxville police, Knox County sheriff's deputies and FBI agents are searching for the suspect.
