KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A car carrying the driver and two children hit a bus carrying 16 students Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.
Knox County sheriff's officers say the bus with students from Carter Middle and High schools was hit after 7:30 a.m. on Pine Grove Road.
The car, driven by Heather Fleenor, 31, of Seymour, crossed the center line and hit the school bus head-on.
The students were taken to school in another bus after the wreck.
Fleenor and her two children were wearing seatbelts and also were not injured.
Though officers say Fleenor may have been driving too fast for road conditions she was not cited.
