KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One person was slightly injured Friday during a fire at a home in South Knox County.

The fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the home on Crenshaw Road near John Sevier Highway.

The home is a near a Rural/Metro fire station, so firefighters had only a short distance to travel to the fire.

The injured resident was treated at the scene and did not need to be transported to the hospital.

The Red Cross provided shelter and emergency needs to three occupants who were living in the house.

Fire officials have not yet said what caused the fire.
