KNOXVILLE (WATE) - About 11 employees at a Knoxville recycling business were forced out of the facility early Friday when a piece of equipment caught fire.

Workers on the third shift at United DMS, 3010 Industrial Parkway, evacuated the building shortly after 2:00 a.m.

Firefighters say machinery used to dry plastic caught fire.

No injuries were reported.

Work at the facility was stopped to allow maintenance crews to evaluated the damage.
