KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One person was shot Sunday morning at a Knoxville club, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
It happened around 5 a.m. at the Malibu 7 Restaurant and Dance located on the 2500 block of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a male who had been shot lying in the parking lot. Police also found evidence of a crime scene nearby.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to UT Medical Center.
The suspect is still on the run, and the investigation is ongoing.
