HUNTSVILLE (WATE) - Scott County Schools students got an extra two-hour's sleep Monday morning. Classes were delayed two hours because of windy weather.
A bus garage supervisor said some trees are down on power lines and blocking county roads.
School officials said they will feel safer waiting until daylight before putting buses on the road to pick up students.
Trees were reported down along Winona Road, Norma Road, and West Hills Road, which are in Huntsville and the east end of the county.
