Dandridge police look for suspect who stole coins and cash from laundromat


DANDRIDGE (WATE) - Dandridge police are asking for help from the public in identifying the two people responsible cleaning out a laundromat.

Police said the incident happened Monday just after 5:00 in the morning at the Dandridge Laundromat.

Officers said the female suspect served as the lookout while the male suspect drilled a hole into the change machine.

Police say he then used a saw to cut into the machine and was able to take more than $1,000 in bills and coins inside before leaving the scene.
