OAK RIDGE (WATE) - The Young Professionals of Oak Ridge are hosting another cash mob in the city.

The next event will take place at The Ferrell Shop in Oak Ridge's historic Jackson Square.

The cash mob will be on Nov. 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Barbara Ferrell, the owner of the business said she was excited to be chosen for the latest event.

"We plan to have hot spiced cider, and a sampling of some of the food items we sell," said Ferrell.

Past Oak Ridge cash mob locations have included The Epicurean, Downtown Hardware, Mickey's Produce and J&M Butcher shop.

All businesses reported an increase in sales on the day of the cash mob as well as weeks and months after.
