KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One of the potential witnesses in the trial against Vanessa Coleman, one of four defendants charged in the Christian-Newsom case, is facing new charges.
Daphne Sutton has been accused of evading arrest.
Sutton is defendant LeMaricus Davidson's former girlfriend.
Officers attempted to serve a warrant to Sutton on Oct. 31. When they came to the front door, she allegedly ran.
The warrant stems from a shoplifting charge from 2011.
