GALLATIN (WATE) - An AMBER Alert was canceled Wednesday after a baby was taken by his non-custodial parents in Middle Tennessee. The baby was recovered and found to be safe.

Authorities across the state began looking for 2-month-old Eric Goolsby after learning the man and woman who took him could be on their way to Kentucky.

Officials said the boy was last seen with Eric Owens, 38, and Chasity Goolsby, 24.

Police said they issued warrants for Owens and Goolsby. Both could be charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and custodial interference. Chasity has outstanding warrants in Davidson County for several offenses, including prostitution and theft.
