Suspect produces knife in Knoxville robbery, KPD investigating

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knoxville Police Department responded to a robbery on Thursday night.  It happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of West Parkway.

One victim said a man named David Weber knocked on the door and was let inside. He then produced a knife and demanded money.

Another victim, a 71-year-old male, said he fought Weber who then cut him on the finger with the knife. The man did not need medical attention.

One victim believes that Weber and another suspect fled on foot with some cash they had stolen.

The three victims' stories were inconsistent, and police think the incident might be drug-related.
