MARROWBONE, Ky. (AP) - The Santa Train makes its 70th annual gift-giving trip through Appalachia this weekend.
According to sponsor CSX Transportation, the train filled with Christmas gifts will make its first stop in the southeastern Kentucky town of Marrowbone at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday.
The Santa Train will distribute presents to children and families at 14 stops along a 110-mile route that goes through Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.
Helping Santa this year is country music duo Thompson Square.
