PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - A prominent Pigeon Forge hotel that once received the dubious honor of "America's Dirtiest Hotel" is now closed.
An employee at the Grand Resort Hotel told 6 News that 15 employees have been laid off as a result.
A manager said the hotel was set to be sold, but the deal fell through and the bank took the property back.
Owner Ken Seaton did not have a comment on Wednesday.
Guests have been moved to the Smoky Shadows Motel and Conference Center.
