LAFAYETTE (WATE) - An Endangered Child Alert issued Thursday was canceled a few hours later when the children were found safe.
Lafayette police say the two sisters and their brother had been taken by their non-custodial mother.
Cadence Summers, 6, Clayton Summers, 5, and Olivia Summers, 2, were reported missing Wednesday when they never showed up to meet their father.
Police have not said if the mother was arrested or how the children were found.
