CROSSVILLE (WATE) - Crossville police said the woman suspected in several area purse snatchings is now in custody.
Officers said 45-year-old Jeanetta Harris was busted moments after snatching a woman's purse on Monday.
They said the victim did the right thing. She started screaming and pointed at Harris.
Police said as a result witnesses gave a good description and officers tracked her down.
They said surveillance video and other witness descriptions connect her to other purse snatchings in the area.
