KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A West Knoxville condo caught fire Monday night and forced four residents out of their homes.

Flames broke out around 9 p.m. at Westlands Condominiums on Touraine Place. The condominiums are located near Westland and Northshore drives.

Neighbors reported the fire after seeing smoke and flames coming from one of the buildings.

By the time firefighters arrived flames were shooting from the roof of the building.

Four residents got out safely.

Firefighters were not injured, but had a close call when a chimney fell over and through the roof near the heads of firefighters inside.

Firefighters were also hampered by low water pressure, but were able to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
