KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A restaurant near Knoxville's West Town Mall was damaged early Tuesday by smoke and flames.

Several fire crews were called around 5:30 a.m. to the Texas Roadhouse, 120 Morrell Road, after a Knoxville police officer spotted smoke and flames coming from the building.

A sprinkler system and firefighters contained the fire to the front of the building, but smoke and water damage was found throughout.

Fire officials have not said what caused the fire.
