KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett was admitted to the hospital Tuesday for an illness.
Knox County spokesman Michael Grider said the mayor has pneumonia.
Grider said Burchett's doctor wants him to get some rest and treatment.
It's unclear how long he will need to remain in the hospital.
