KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A bus carrying Knox County school students was hit Thursday afternoon by a car on a narrow road. 

Bus 102 with 20 students from South Doyle Middle School was hit at a curve of Widener Road near Bays Mountain Road.

There were no injuries to students and another bus was called to take the students on the remainder of the route.

According to Rural/Metro none of the people in the car was injured.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says charges are pending against the driver of the car.
