KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knox County Health Department has a few events planned to commemorate World AIDS Day in Knoxville.
On Saturday, there is a FaithWalk with registration at 1 p.m. It starts at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and ends at First Baptist Church on Main Street.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dr. Buchanan is speaking at Holiday Inn World's Fair for World AIDS Day Program.
At 10 a.m. on Sunday, there is a HIV/AIDS and Faith Dialogue at Valley Unitarian Universalist Church.
On Wednesday, there is free, confidential HIV testing at Carousel II from 10 p.m. until midnight.
World AIDS Day has been observed for 14 years now.
