LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - A LaFollette man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a Campbell County man.
Deputies responded to the stabbing incident on Friday night and found 53-year-old Rocky Lane Gibson suffering from a knife wound.
Gibson was flown by Lifestar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he later died.
After an investigation, detectives uncovered enough evidence to make an arrest late Saturday night.
Jonathan B. Sexton, 26, of Pleasant Ridge Road in LaFollette, was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter.
Sexton is being held at the Campbell County Jail.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the altercation that led to Gibson's death.
