KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knox County Sheriff's deputies were investigating Thursday after a man was found shot in an East Knox County neighborhood.
The shooting happened in the 5700 block of Tazewell Pike just before noon.
The victim was found at the intersection of Washington Pike and Babelay Road in a car he had driven from the scene.
He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. His name and condition have not been released.
Deputies say they took one person in for questioning, but no charges have been filed.
The investigation is still underway.
