KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Deputies are looking for the two men involved in a home invasion Monday night in East Knox County.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office says just before 8:00 p.m. on Monday night, two men forced their way through the front door of a home on Old Rutledge Pike
and held two adults and two children at gunpoint, demanding money.
The suspects
fired a shot when they entered the home. The bullet did not strike anyone, but
pierced the living room wall.
The suspects stole non-narcotic pill bottles and a
wallet and fled in an unknown direction.
Both men had their faces covered during the
robbery.
They are described as white males in their mid-twenties.
One suspect is
described as being 5'6"-5'8" tall and weighing 150 to 165 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie
during the robbery.
The other suspect was wearing a dark hoodie and black hat.
